A Brief History of Street Soccer
In 1999, Street Soccer began an evolution triggered by the way the game was played in the streets of Holland: raw, confrontational with unhindered creativity. Street-bred Dutch players like Edgar Davids, Clarence Seedorf, Dennis Bergkamp, and Robin Van Persie were fast becoming global superstars - and being noticed for their phenomenal skills as well as stand-out individuality. These players were proving that Street Soccer was a tool to learn - an organic, evolving component of the game encompassing creativity, respect and the love of the game.
Why Play CK Street Soccer
Because pitches are small in size, because there are no set positions, it means players have to think of other ways apart from physical strength or kicking the ball long distances to beat their opponent. We let them learn by themselves and be responsible for themselves. We don't punish mistakes, we use them to make progress.
